Bariatric Advantage VitaBand Multi-Form Chew Watermelon 180ct 180 Chewable Tablets Per Bottle Flavors Watermelon, Lemon Cream, Mixed Berry. VitaBand Nutrition Engineered for the AGB Patient. The Bariatric Advantage VitaBand formula is specifically designed to meet the needs of patients who have undergone Adjustable Gastric Banding AGB . While potential nutritional risks are often not discussed in relation to AGB, patients can develop deficiencies due to caloric restriction, rapid weight loss and other reasons. Some of the deficiencies reported with AGB include Thiamine1, B12, Folate, and Iron. Negative bone remodeling, indicative of calcium loss, has been reported as well. The VitaBand product currently comes in a Watermelon flavor that was selected through taste tests conducted in post-operative patients.
